Denise Anderson, NCI Chair and President of the National Health ISAC, testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on April 4, 2017 on cybersecurity in the health care sector.  In addition to speaking to that subject, Denise offered several ways Congress and the federal agencies could help strengthen ISACs, support access to ISACs and improve information sharing across all sectors.

The Electricity ISAC developed this white paper on the exploitation of the internet of things (IoT) to conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. In the paper, E-ISAC provides recommendations for defensive capabilities against such attacks.

Denise Anderson, the Chair of the NCI, provided Congressional testimony, submitted U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection and Security Technologies, on the President’s recent executive order on cybersecurity information sharing and on how the federal government can better support private sector information sharing and analysis centers.

At the March 4, 2015 ISAC-ISAO Summit, NCI Vice Chair Scott Algeier provided recommendations on the implementation of the ISAO provisions in the Executive Order Promoting Private Sector Cybersecurity Information Sharing.
